Easter 2010--better late than never!

Easter was a few weeks late this year, due to the birth of Tatum and attempting to accommodate everyone's schedules with their other families. We still had fun, and I'm grateful for everyone's patience. At this rate we will probably have Easter 2011 around the 4th of July 2011! Then for sure we will have warm weather for the Easter egg hunt!

Van Leeuwen Cuties!!

I love capturing the personalities of my Grandkids! Cade, Luke, Pyper and Redd are just bursting with personality!!! Tristen waited a long time for this photo shoot and I appreciate her patience, but I think we did a great job!! I experienced a first---Redd actually started crying when I stopped taking his picture!! He wanted more shots!! Can you blame him? Look at the face!!!

Tatum's First Photo Shoot

Bring baby Tatum home from the hospital. Telisa was worried how Bodie would react, but as you can see, he welcomed him with open arms!!! Although, I'm certain Bodie will be happier when his brother can get up and play!!

Super Model!! TRISTEN MARIE

Check it out! Tristen was nominated by employees from her gym as one committed and dedicated to become healthier! Going regularly to a gym with four kids in tow is not an easy experience, but Tristen was determined to FEEL healthy, both body and mind again, thanks to much encouragement from her sister Tara. I was so sad I was in Cleveland on the day of her Fashion Show, but she had a great support system from Tiffany, Tara, Kim, Dad, Kourtney and her cute future model daughter, Pyper. You look beautiful Tristen!! Of course, I may be biased, but you always do!!!

Tatum Dutch VanLeeuwen

Tatum Dutch (named after Clay's grandfather) was born into this world on Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 To Clay, Telisa and Bodie VanLeeuwen!!! I have to say, it was the longestttttttttt labor and the shortest delivery I have ever witnessed. Telisa has literally been having painful contractions consistently ever since I landed in Cleveland on Thursday, April 8th! Telisa did a drop off and pick up all in one trip. Clay left the moment I arrived for Omaha, Nebraska with the purpose of finding and purchasing a home for them to live for the next five years while he attends Oral Surgery school at the University of Nebraska, which he did! The doctor put Telisa on bed rest the whole time Clay was gone in order to ensure he would be back for the delivery. Dennis flew in Sunday afternoon and Clay returned Sunday evening, and much to our surprise, she made it until her induction date on Tuesday at 6AM. It took another 12 hours to dilate one more cinemeter getting her to a 4. (apparently his head was on the larger size) The doctor then put her on a bouncy ball to get the head a little lower and complete the dilation process. Shortly after, Telisa pushed a few times and out came Tatum..all 8 lbs. 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. After a long labor, Telisa's emotions erupted as thoughts of gratitude, fear and pain were upon her. I was so proud of her and Clay and I love their little family so much!!!

Wow Dennis! This is number 20 for us!!!!! I'm both exhausted and ecstatic all at the same time!!
