The Dirty Dash!!!

Yes, Tara and Tristen are giving each other a victory kiss!?!

A hilarious way to spend a day is watching some of your kids and grandkids run and play in the mud!!!  The event was called the Dirty Dash!  Tiffany, Tara, Tristen, Treavor, Jessica and Kourtney participated in the craziness and by all appearances had a blast!!!  Den and I had a blast watching them!   As my Grandma Verna would say, "it's clean dirt!"  Star Wars was their theme.  LOVED IT!!

Easter 2013

Here's just a few pics from our Easter celebration.  Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of everyone.  Thanks to all who helped with the food!!  So yummy!!!  Grandpa Dennis gave a wonderful lesson on the last week of Christ's life.  The highlight of the day was the announcement that Treavor and Sara are expecting their third baby!!!!  We are so thrilled for them.  They are wonderful parents!!  I love all occasions when our family gets together!!

New Jersey-Here comes Elder Beus!!!

We have these moments in life we can't hardly believe are true.  This was the case as I watched our oldest Grandchild, Gunnar Scott Beus open his mission call to Morristown, New Jersey Mission-Spanish speaking!!!! Tears of shock and joy as the reality set in that this little guy that I have loved so much and watched for 18 years grow from the cutest little baby boy to a hard working, smart, athletic, tender and tough young man. I'm grateful to his wonderful parents who have raised such a fine young man!  He will be a valiant servant of the Lord.  My love and prayers are with you Gunnar!!! Mucho exito!!!

Gunnar Scott Beus

This beefy handsome young man is my oldest grandchild, Gunnar Scott Beus! He turned 18 this year, there by making him a Senior in High School, and because of the Church's new missionary announcement, eligible to become a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which is preparing to do.  Clearly I'm biased, but Gunnar has grown up to be an amazing individual!  He excels in many areas of his life, school, church, eating, tenderness, toughness, hard work and determination to gain knowledge.  I love him very much and seriously can't believe he is a MAN!!!  It freaks me out a little bit, but Gunnar has blessed my life and our family.  He gives GREAT HUGS!!! I look forward to great things in his future!
