"Two worlds- one family, trust your heart, let faith decide to guide you where you need to be." As I flew above the over 40,000 villages in Guatemala last week, the first song that came on my ipod during one of my many helicopter flights was that song from Tarzan. As you will see from the photos below, it was a heart wrenching vista, one in which my heart can never forget. The Reinhart Foundation is currently working to serve the Guatemalans in six major areas; Stoves, Water Purifiers, Room Dividers, Vegetable Gardens, Bunk Beds and Micro Businesses. Also, building schools are an interest to them- they have already built one. The Guatemalan people have to earn them, but are allowed to pay for them on a monthly basis.
Dad and I have a strong desire for our family to unite together and help those way less fortunate than us. We have been blessed beyond measure and may often forget the magnitude of suffering around the world. Hopefully in the next couple of years, all of us can travel to Guatemala and assist in the Humanitarian Projects!
Below, you see an little elderly lady just sitting in front of her house. She is blind from cataracts. We hope to find a doctor for her. If we can adopt our own Village, then we can go about meeting the exact needs of that village and see them to self sufficiency! Wouldn't that be AWESOME!!!

It's awesome that you guys got to go down there. All those pictures remind me so much of the service trip Greg and I took to El Salvador. It definitely tugs at the heart strings!
