I am standing on the Tel Meggido - a Tel means hill.

This is the valley of Jezreel also known as "Armageddon"

The conquerors of Israel include the Arabs, Assyrians, Babylonians, British, Canaanites, Crusaders, Eqyptians, French, Greeks, hyksos, Hittites, Jebusites, Mamelukes, Meads, Persians, Philistines, Romans, Syrians and Turks. This battlefield has seen most of these armies.
